More information about this webinar:

CYPE Connect Steel is the new CYPE application for modelling and analysing complex connections of steel structures using the finite element method. The tool, besides being able to import BIM models in IFC, is also capable of importing forces affecting the structure’s nodes designed in analyses previously carried out in other project phases.

New features in CYPECAD version 2022

Among the main new features of CYPECAD version 2022.a is the automatic import of existing beams into BIM models, optimisation of frame design times, and new possibilities for defining concrete crown beams. In this seminar, these new features will be presented as well as others from version 2022.a.

New features of CYPE Connect Steel

In this seminar, we present the new features implemented in version 2022.a of CYPE Connect Steel. The most important ones are listed below:
Connections library (importing and exporting connections)
Connection summary report
Optimisation of analysis time
Node management in the 3D view of the structure
Viewing options
Exporting connections to the BIM model

Discover BIM Essentials by CYPE

In this seminar, we will learn about 7 essential tools for designers who want to work with BIM. Based on an architectural model created with CYPE Architecture, we are going to characterise a building’s structural systems, develop an analytical model for the thermal simulations, calculate the cost of the project through a BIM budget, study the compatibility between fields with a clash detection analysis and prepare all the drawings of the project.
